How can I get other swingers to send me their pictures?
My wife and I are swingers (to those that don't approve: I don't care. It works for us). We are on a number of dating sites that cater to our lifestyle. We are an attractive couple and thus have more options than many of the more average looking swingers have. Unfortunately, it seems that most swingers are not that attractive -- especially the guys. Many of the men are older and fat with attractive wives. My wife is not thrilled by this aspect of the lifestyle.

We have found that getting pictures from other swingers can be a chore. Often, we believe that it's because they are not attractive and don't want us to see what they look like until we've gotten to know them a little -- at which point (they hope) personality will make up for the fact that they're 350 pounds. It won't.

However, we're sure that there are also some attractive couples we're missing out on because they are not sending pictures either. We mention that pictures are really important to us, and that we are not looking for perfection (we have gotten together with fives) but we really want to see what a couple looks like, otherwise we just don't reply after the second or third email.

We hint, we ask. We don't get pictures.

All this is just to ask you, the answers public, if you can think of creative and upbeat ways to get people to send us pictures of their faces. There are a number of people that complain about all the things they don't like about other couples in the lifestyles, and we just don't want to start down the road of sounding like them. We keep our profile upbeat and happy.

So, any ideas?

I'm a single professional recently relocated to Chicago. What is the proper etiquette for turning down possible swingers?
Recently, my husband was at work and needed his lunch dropped off. I took his lunch down there and one of my husband's supervisors started hitting on me blatantly in front of my husband. I was polite, but short with him, all the while trying to figure out what was going on. So... a few days later, my husband needed to pick something up for work at his supervisors house where he lives with his wife and infant daughter. The supervisors wife had just had some kind of surgery on her upper abdomen and wasted no time in showing my husband her scar and "accidentally" flashed her breasts. She played it off and, according to my husband, seemed to have done it on purpose. In addition to the flashing, she was using innuendos in her conversations with her husband and mine while he was there. My husband came home immediately and told me what had happened. Is it obvious that they are possible swingers and are trying to interest my husband and I? Or am I nuts? My husband and I have talked about their intentions (not about swinging) and it seems obvious. But, this man is my husband's supervisor and being in the military, we cross paths with these people at functions and events often. I don't think they are real swingers, I think they are wannabe swingers. Real swingers don't hit on non-swingers because they know the chance of getting with them is almost none. There is greener grass with real swingers. So going after non-swingers and trying to "convert" them is not only a waste of time and energy. You'd never, ever know a real swinger if you met them because they don't publicize their sex life anymore than you do.

These people just seem like uncouth, rude and all around icky people. I'd tell them that you're flattered that they are flirting with you two this way, but it's not going to go anywhere with you and you'd appreciate it if they'd stop because it's making you and your husband uncomfortable.

How to take a picture with Polaroid Big Swinger?
i tried taking a polaroid picture with Polaroid Big Swinger with film FP-100C. But when i pressed the shutter of the picture, and after i exposed it, the picture is just a blank piece of polaroid.

Make sure that you can hear the shutter click. Could be a problem with the shutter. Also, make sure you are seeing the "YES" from the photometer before you take the shot.

Double check the the exposure slider, you do not want it set to "3000" or "B&W".

My parents are swingers.?
Last summer my sister, parents, and I went to my parents friends house. They had been hanging for a month or so and Dad said that he worked with the male. Swingers and swing clubs sociology project. Any ideas?
I have a huge final project for my Sociology class, the topic is swingers and swing clubs. I need to find a way to interview/contact swingers and I have no idea how to do that because all the clubs are 21+ (I'm 19). Since the topic is so unfamiliar to me, I'm a little stuck and don't know what to do or how to do it.

I just found out my parents are swingers!?!?

I'm really sorry that you had to stumble upon this, especially since things didn't work out for them. Please understand that your parents are not sick, perverted or deranged. They were experimenting with something and, as happens to many couples to dabble with swinging, it backfired. As a swinger (and a woman) myself, I can see right away where they went wrong: no one should ever have felt coerced into something like this, AND it's never a good idea to get involved with close friends. I'm guessing these friends are quite so close anymore?

What you discovered is akin to walking in on your parents "mid-stroke" while your dad is wearing a chicken suit and your mom is dressed like Colonel Sanders. Disturbing, yes, but not anything that Dr. Phil himself wouldn't recommend if it enriched the marriage. Where they went wrong was a) your Dad not respecting (or maybe not seeing/understanding) your Mom's feelings of ambivalence, and b) your Mom's failure to stand up for herself and TELL your Dad that she was uncomfortable with it.

Your parents are adults who had choices to make, and they made them. Not only are they adults, they're just human beings. People screw up all the time. We all have our roles to play as daughters, mothers, fathers, family friends, etc. and we're all on our individual journeys through life, learning as we go. Screwing up as we go! Cut them some slack; I'm sure they're kicking themselves enough for all of you.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, you should realize that your parents have some issues to deal with that they seem to be dealing with poorly. This puts you in a tough spot because there's really not much you can do about it except to tell them that you are very uncomfortable due to their inability to deal with their sh*t. Your Dad's indiscreet obsession with porn is disturbing alright. I don't have a problem with porn, but I do have a problem with the indiscretion AND with the apparent abundance of it. It could point to a porn addiction...which could arise from any number of things.

Do you have a trusted friend outside of the family with whom you could discuss your concerns? It sounds like maybe your parents could use some professional intervention and/or therapy..
