What are some popular cartoon character tattoos? I am an artist and I was wondering if there was a market for cartoon babes that you've seen on guys. |
There is a HUGE market for babe tattoos on guys. But mostly the style of girl is pin-ups and old school style women. Most men who get females on them don't get cartoon characters for tattoos. They aren't realistic female portraits, they are, still, animated characters, but not based on cartoons.
To actually answer your question though, the most popular female tattoo is Bettie Page. |
Where do I find a wholesale supplier of licensed cartoon/character stickers and tattoos? Hi there!
I've been looking online, but can't really seem to find any good suppliers of licensed stickers and/or tattoos. (I'm looking for licensed characters and cartoon ones, not anything generic.)
I would prefer a wholesaler or at least one that deals in bulk, so that I can actually resell them.
I'm also looking for a wholesaler of party goods/supplies.(same thing....licensed supplies, not generic)
Thanks! |
| I am able to sell items to you,but that depends when your in The U.S. and close to where I live. Please contact me. |
Are cartoon tattoos OK if done tastefully? I want a small singing spongebob in the back of my neck sometime in the future, and I was just wondering what others thought. (It's possible I could change my mind). |
| I think that it's okay to get any kind of tattoo as long as there is meaning behind it. |
Do you prefer realistic or more cartoon-y tattoos? And why?
*this is concerning tattoos that could be made either in a realistic way or a cartoon-y way (ie: animals) |
| I think it depends on what it is. Like I wouldn't ever want a tattoo of a realistic face on my shoulder because that's a little creepy. But if it was a realistic element of nature, then that would be pretty cool. And same with cartoons, if it's spiderman then that's really sad, but if it's a symbolic cartoon from a culture, or something with meaning then that would be more up beat and interesting. BUT if its like a cartoon animal or a realistic animal, then definetly realistic, since it would capture more of the animal's attributes. Hope this helps! |
Tattoos: are cartoon style ones less painful since there is less shading and making them quicker and cheaper? I'm talking about Simpson or Yellow Submarine like with bright pastel neon like colors |
| I don't think it less painful. There's the same amount of needle in your skin. However, it may be quicker because the tattoo artist has less time to spend evaluating the shading to use. Since most tattoo shop charge by the hour, quicker=cheaper... |

If you get turned on by tattoos, what is stopping you from getting turned on by cartoon? They are both drawings, right? |
cartoons are on a tv screen, tattoos are on a person!
if you get turned on by tattoos, it's usually because of the way they're placed on someone's body, or what they look like on them |
Does anyone have any cartoon character tattoos? Which one? You can upload and share with the world your character tattoo, at www.transformertattoo.com |
